I have served in the Royal Navy and later trained as a teacher at Oxford.
I spent a brief time teaching in Oxford to gain practical experience before going to Australia, where I taught in Elizabeth (in the South) before going to Darwin leaving there when Tracy, an enormous thunderstorm (some people might still remember), struck in Dec.1974. I still remember seeing a crocodile on top of my car bonnet in the swimming pool. I loved teaching the aborigines, remarkable people, who later gave me a dingo as a gift
Later on I returned to the U.K., where I qualified in special Education.
I retired in Dec.1998.
To pass my time I became an extra in lots of films, where I met the "rich and famous".... I must say, I had lots of fun, whatever life threw at me.
